Louise Tanguay, photographer

Photography and traveling are two of Louise Tanguay’s greatest passions. Her photography has won numerous prizes.  She has had multiple exhibitions and has been published in prestigious magazines and newspapers throughout the world. She has authored many articles and her illustrated conferences are always much appreciated by the public. She has published a dozen works, including two coffee-table books, Natura and Flora at Editions de l’Homme.  Between 2002 and 2004, she produced a series of guide books on gardens in Quebec. Jewels of Hawai’i, a book on Hawaiian gardens, was published in 2010. The workshops she has been running for many years is a resounding success. She also leads groups of photographers on foreign trips. Hawaii, Paris, Tuscany, Morocco, and Namibia are among her recent destinations. Originally from Hearst in northern Ontario, she now works out of Gatineau in the Outaouais region.

Jacques Lachapelle, Explorateur guide

Curiosity, the challenge of making new discoveries and a strong sense of wonder are Jacques Lachapelle's driving forces. Travel has been his passion and career for over 30 years. He has travelled to more than 100 countries around the world and has guided groups in more than 40. He has spent a total of a few years in Muslim countries, including Turkey. He has accompanied groups from Canada, the United States and Great Britain. He is very passionate about history, architecture and archeology, and has a reputation of being a walking encyclopedia.

Nature is invaluable to Jacques and is his main source of inspiration. Beautiful landscapes, fauna and flora fascinate him and have a definite influence on his photography where the beautiful and the strange dominate.

An English-speaking Turkish licensed tour guide will also be present troughout the trip.
